The Nudelman-Suranov NS23 automatic cannon is a belt fed, 23X115MM solenoid fired aircraft gun.
Developed at the end of WWII, the NS-23 is based on an earlier sucessful 37MM cannon.
These 23MM cannons have been mounted on Yaks, MiG's, Ilyushin's and other Soviet fighter's, bombers and ground attack aircraft.

Coming in at over 6 feet in length, these monsters are complete with torch cut receiver and barrel (4ft marker shown for scale).
The barrel extension on these kits has not been removed from the barrel.
Torch cut receiver has all internal threads still intact.
Includes the unique pneumatic belt feed mechanism, pneumatic charging tube, oil buffer, and the electrical firing solenoid .
