The Krupnokaliberniy Pulemyot Vladimirova (KPV) is a 14.5X114mm, air cooled, gas operated, belt fed cannon with a rotating bolt.
This kit includes the torch cut receiver and barrel sections.
Hard chrome-lined barrel has 8 lands and grooves, and is sectioned as required by BATF for import.
Bolt and all internals are in *Very Good* condition, showing minimal to no wear.
The massive polished steel bolt locks to the outside of the barrel extension using interrupted threads.
The mechanical sear release and cocking piece are designed to mate with the trigger and charging handle of the mount. 

Totaling over 6 1/2 feet in length, this one is sure to draw some attention! (12 inch ruler added to photos for scale).

The KPV was developed by the Russians in WWII as an infantry weapon and saw limited issue and use.
It is made to be belt fed from either the left or right by changing around parts of the fed cover and tray.
It has been used in a wide variety of wheeled ground mounts and armoured vehicles (both wheeled and tracked).
In widespread service since 1944 the KPV is mostly used as an anti-aircraft gun due to its long range and immense firepower.
With a cyclic rate of 550-600 RPM of 14.5X114 ammunition the KPV has an effective range of about two kilometers!
