Colt manufactured M4 carbine "flat top" uppers.
These uppers were part of a government contract routine sample group, sent to an independant lab where they were salt water sprayed to test the finish.
The sucessfully tested uppers are returned to Colt (as pictured).
Expect to clean off water marks from parts before installation on a firearm.
Pictures show a mix of uncleaned and parts that Colt employees cleaned (no selection).
The receivers may or not have the M4 marking on the front and the numbering on the top.
May have square or keyhole forge markings.
