The wood hand guard was in a very awful condition when I received it a lot of it was cracked and it is very wobbly in the hand guard slot and barley fits at all

A very beautiful wooden hand guard with minor dings and cracks, but in very good conditions

I was a little concerned about the "fair to good" condition and didn't want a fair condition handguard. So I held off on purchasing this for a few months. I finally ordered it and am glad I did. The handguard I received was overall in good condition but has character, with some scratches and dings in the wood. It looks like it's been through battle like a milsurp rifle should, with dings and scratches like you would find on any old Enfield or Mauser that saw action.
