I purchased one, last month, hoping to get a nice one, but luck of the draw, my "very good" loader arrived well used and rusty. I beat out the dents, made a new base for it, as without the original can it came in, the base is useless. Refinished the metal, tweaked the action, and it works pretty well, when you get the rhythm of cranking the arm and jiggling the ammo in the tray. I don't see any difference between this one and a Russian one. I'm using a WWII .50 ammo can for the new carrying case/loading platform. Not a bad deal if you are handy with tools, or you don't care if it looks like third world junk. Not many belt loaders around, so beggars can't be choosers.
