Colt Model 604 Upper Receiver Assembly 1970-1973, 20" Barrel, 5.56x45 NATO, black triangle handguard with A1 flash hider & charging handle, slickside bolt carrier assembly, in *Very Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this collectible Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
M16 later 604 type upper receiver with numbered rear sight knob and raised arrow directional markings.
Late 604 "C MP B" marked barrel for Colts Magnetic Particle Chrome Bore.
These were mated to a slabside receiver and have no forward assist or casing deflector.
Possible years of production on this assembly are between 1970 and 1973.
These receiver assemblies have the Colt proof marks on the front right side of the receiver.
Chrome lined bore is in *Very Good* condition.
These were among the first Colt production M16's with the chrome lined bore.
Black triangle type handguards are in *Good* condition, with some scratches and two small cracks in the right side hand guard.
Includes proper M16A1 charging handle, slick side bolt carrier assembly and A1 type flash hider.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Vietnam Era M16A1 triangle type handguard assembly with handguard cap and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Late "C" marked forged type front sight base.
- Fixed rear sight bridge with L-shape sights and windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper, with rectangle dust cover, late bend gas tube.
- 20" barrel with A1 type "Birdcage" flash hider.
