Colt AR15 SP-1 Carbine Upper Receiver Assembly, 16" Pencil Profile chrome lined Barrel, no forward assist, A1 Birdcage flash hider, carbine circular handguards, early barrel nut, 5.56X45 NATO, in *Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this early Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
Possible years of production of are between 1978-1984.
Numbered rear sight knob with directional markings on receiver.
The gray anodized reciever has the large hole front pivot pin, common to the SP1.
Colt forge markings on the front right side of the receiver.
Late forged front sight base with drain hole, and "L" rear sight.
Pencil profile barrel is marked "C MP CHROME BORE".
The chrome lined bore is in Good condition with some spotting.
A2 circular handguards with round handguard cap and straight barrel nut.
Some light scuffs and scratches on the handguards, but not cracks or breaks.
Round front sight post has some damage (as pictured).
Lower assembly, charging handle, bolt assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Round type handguard cap with carbine length circular handguards, and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Forged front sight base with hole and round sight post.
- L shape rear sight with windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper with no forward assist.
- 16" pencil profile chrome lined barrel with A1 birdcage flash hider.
- Large hole front pivot pin.
