Japanese issue 75rd saddle drum body for the Type 98 and MG15 machine guns, German made, with latch, missing body screws, in *Good* condition.

This is a very unusual addition to your collection.
Looking at the maker and proof markings and LACK of Luftwaffe "FL" part numbers, this is one of the MG-15 type Dopple Trommel magazine made under contract for Japan along with some MG-15's.
Japan later produced their own licensed version of the MG-15 and its magazine, called the "TYPE 98".
Holds 75 rounds of 7.92X57 ammunition.
All the numbered parts match on this double drum, and all the internal parts appear to be present.
The drum lacks all the machine screws that attach the cover and one of the external spindle screws.
Drums of this type REQUIRE a special loading tool to use.
May show signs of wear, marring, scratches, surface rust, etc and has not been tested...
