These magazines are *NEW* from the factory, clean/dry, they may require the application of a few drops of your favorite gun oil where the follower meets the back/inside of the magazine body.

GI Quality MagazinesI bought 4 of these magazines. They are all clean and well finished. All 4 function test fine; they feed in a Colt and a Rock Island 1911, and each one locks the slide back when the magazine is empty.

Dont function in my 1911sI bought six of these "GI" mags. None of them would lock the slide back after the last round reliably. The slide didnt go back far enough to engage the slide stop and the mags were difficult to remove from the mag well. I tried these mags in a GI Rock Island pistol and a GI ATI pistol. Perhaps I'll try them again next shooting session to see if they break in.

Spotty QC1/3 magazines functioned perfectly. 1 magazine took 50 rounds to begin locking back correctly. Final magazine not only would not lock, it jammed in frame.
Beyond that, no FTF, FTE or other issues. Just spotty QC on these.Posted on

OEM quality magazineUsed this magazine in 2 Colt 1911s and a custom build. The magazine functioned properly in all 3 pistols using 230 grain ball and positively locked the slide back on each empty magazine.

Works fineBought 2 of these back in March, always suspicious of low priced mags offered on the internet. Loaded them up, along with several factory name brand units for my Colt Commander. No difference in shooting between them. Shot hundreds of rounds with no function issues whatsoever. For the price, will be buying more.
