If you just want a wood handguard set to finish an M70 build, this is a good start. Buying this saves you at least a hundred bucks compared to buying a new set from Zastava.
I'm by no means a wood "expert", so I won't even try to guess what kind of wood was used to make this. It's a kind of blonde, fair colored grain, very true to what you see in the pictures.

Unfortunately, the lower handguard chipped somewhere during shipping, and shortly after snapped entirely. Probably salvageable with a bit of wood glue. The stock however, is quite tough and dense.

The stock I received was better than expected, although I was planning on refinishing it for a darker color anyways. The handguards appear to be red oak, and the stock appears to be white oak, although I am no expert. They are stained and clear coated to be almost exactly the same color. The stock was very smooth, with the clear coat filling in some sanding marks. The stock wood has a little figure to it, but nothing great. The buttplate was properly sized to the stock - I think this is where the sanding marks on the stock came from. The handguards were slightly rough (texturally speaking) but did not have any deep sanding marks like the stock. No figure to the handguards, but they do have a very nice straight grain to them. There were two dents: one on the stock and the other on the lower handguard. They were present before the coating process, so I am not sure how they would iron out without removing the clear coat. One of the cooling grooves has a corner missing, but it’s not very noticeable. There were no scratches in the finish, and the stocks were good enough to throw on a rifle as-is.
As of this writing, I have removed all the clear coat and sanded the parts. I haven’t checked fitment of any parts yet, but they cleaned up very nicely. I don’t have anything to compare this to, but I think it is a fairly cost effective option as compared to a surplus stock if you just want something nice but functional. The finished stock is very smooth, and the very minor roughness of the handguards will wear off in time.

Put it on my m77 and it looks great. I've wanted to do it for a while and am glad I finally did. Stock was in near perfect condition.

Put this on my new poly n-pap. Upon receiving the furniture in a timely fashion i noticed right away the hand guards and stock weren't even made out of the same wood or atleast cut differently because the stock does not have the wood grains the hand guards do. I sanded down the wood to restain in red, the stock is plain white wood while the guards are more natural wood color with grains, sadly not even the same wood. When i assembled the upper hand guard was so loose it rolls around freely, will have to add epoxy or something to get it tight. The stocks curved cheek guard is so close to the receiver I plan on cutting it back atleast 2 inches to make it match the newer stock model of the poly pap for a more comfortable hold. The stock also had considerable handover when attached to stock that I had to sand down. The rubber butt pad and original wood finish was good with a few dents as it says.

Overall I would not recommend and I'm afraid when I'm done restaining the differences in wood is going to be so obvious and even more disappointing.

I emailed company prior to purchase and asked if they knew what kind of wood it was. They responded promptly but the answer was they didn't know what wood they used in Yugoslavia, even though it says American made. I understand they are just a merchant but...

Fit beautifully on my PAP N90NP. One minor ding on stock and one on upper handguard. Went on with minor problems ie it's harder than I thought to get that upper handguard off. Looks great!
