This is surplus 8x56mm R ammo and comes in a cardboard box.
They feature 208gr FMJBT bullets, and have Brass cases.
Head stamps are 1942 dated with a Iperial Lion crest. Manufactured by Darzhavna Voenna Fabrika, Kazanlak, Bulgaria. 
Some of the rounds may have discoloration from long term storage.
Ammo may be corrosive.
