Canteen is made of steel, painted blue.
Carrier straps are made of canvas.
Bottle has a cork to keep the canteen from spilling.
Cork may have varying amounts of material, holes and some chunks missing.
Original use with UK soldiers, to hold and carry water.
Shows signs of fraying, discoloration, oxidation/surface rust, wear, marring, grime, etc...
