Colt M16 601 Upper Receiver Assembly, 20" Pencil Profile Barrel, 3-prong duckbill flash hider, triangle handguards, 5.56X45 NATO, in *Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this early Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
Early type with non-numbered rear sight knob and no directional markings on receiver.
Early cast front sight base and "L" rear sight.
20" pencil profile barrel is marked with an "S" at the front sight base, and possibly a "W" or "M".
We believe these uppers have early Winchester manufactured barrels.
The non-chrome bore shows heavy use with moderate pitting.
Colt proof marks on the front right side of the receiver.
Triangle handguards with straight barrel nut assembly.
Gray finished upper receiver.
Lower assembly, FCG parts, bolt carrier, charging handle, and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Early M16 triangle type handguard cap with triangle handguards, and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Cast front sight base with circle post.
- L shape rear sight with windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper, with large square plate ejection port cover.
- 20" barrel with duckbill flash hider.
- Early bend gas tube.
