Rare tripod to add to your collection! A true war veteran to enjoy or restore. These are the early M35 tripods for the Colt m1928 Browning .30cal water cooled machine-gun (as pictured). Painted tan, expect paint chipping and wear throughout the tripod. Has the original brass ID plate, hanger for the wood ammo box, no pins to mount the gun. The early M35 tripod has some distinct features, like the fine elevating knob and coarse elevation degree markings. Colt tripod showing its use and extended storage, levers and moving parts will be stiff, needs to be cleaned and serviced. Shows additional signs of surface rust, wear, marring, grime, etc...
