Original rear sight base for the Indian No. 1 Mk III (Ishapore 2A1) rifle, stripped, .308/7.62 calibration, used in *Good* condition.

This sight base is designed to give your No. 1 Mk III a solid connection for your rear sight to your rifle.
Designed for the Indian Ishapore manufactured #2A1 variant, these bases are calibrated for 7.62mm NATO (NOT .303 British).
Includes the leaf spring, but lacks the small machine screw that secures the leaf spring.
These sight bases will require some cleaning of protective grease, and may have nicks from handling & storage.
