These  #9 Mk1 bayonets were contracted to replace the #4 spike bayonets after WWII.
The British proof marking on these bayonets indicate they were manufactured by the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, England.
A superimposed "ED" is visible on these high quality bayonets, though some may have been painted.
Many of these bayonets have a "PF" proof marking, indicating they were meant for foreign export.

There is no ability to guarantee the #5 scabbard will have a matching serial number.
