Rare and virtually impossible piece of history to collect and have for reference! Includes the complete parts kit minus the receiver (as pictured). Rear sight will have Tabuk factory markings of the Lion of Babylon, as pictured. Matching numbers on bolt, bolt carrier, trunnion, top cover and gas tube. Wooden buttstock, upper & lower wood handguards and black polymer pistol grip. Numbers will be faint (lightly marked) and diffucult to read on the matching parts. Original Tabuk barrel is included, populated with front trunnion, gas block and front sight block. Notes about bore condition: Iraqi Tabuks were built using Yugoslavian technical assistance and just like ZASTAVA guns Iraqi TABUK barrels are not chrome-lined. The rifles were fired with corrosive ammunition, most appear worn, dark and dirty from hard combat service use without proper cleaning. Parts originally for use with Iraqi Tabuk AK rifles chambered in 7.62x39. These kits do not come with a cleaning rod, some front night sights lack the tension spring. Will show signs of wear, marring, grime, etc... Parts must be inspected and tested by qualified and competent gunsmiths or armorers before use in a firearm. Not all firearm parts are interchangeable; use of surplus parts without proper knowledge could cause a firearm to malfunction and cause property damage, injury or death.
Finally you can own an Incredibly rare and historical TABUK AK parts kit! These weapons were manufactured for several years in Iraqi weapons manufacturing plants before the factories were destroyed. Recently this very small lot was allowed to be imported to the USA and are now available for purchase. Tabuk AK's closely resemble the familiar Zastava M70 series of AK rifles that you know or own, with many parts being similar yet a little different. Iraqi AK's have unique distinct markings, yet they fire your typical 7.62 rounds.
