These periscope heads add the functionality of night vision for gunners through the use of an additional infrared periscope.
The M32C Infrared elbow and the M32 (daylight) periscope both have 8X magnification and an 8 degree field of view.
The head assembly itself has a horizontal field of view 30°32' and a vertical field of view 5°48'.
The M32 sight system is what introduced night vision to US Patton tank gunners and allowed them to effectively use the 105mm main gun in darkness.
Used in *Excellent* condition, these head units will have mild wear from installation and handling.
