Details

Polish NSP-3 night scope, 1st Generation Passive, comes with wooden transit case and accessories, condition is *Very Good*, SOLD *As Is*, not guaranteed to function.

Sold as a kit (as pictured).

This is what you've been begging for to mount on your AK!
These scopes are still in their original wood chests, in *Very Good* condition!
This kit will include the scope, battery packs (wet cell), soft case, adjustment tools, and even the original issue paperwork for the individual scope!

May be missing some or all of the (Polish) paperwork.
Wood cases may be nicked, scratched, or have other cosmetic flaws from storage & transport.
These cases have done their job, protecting the inside contents!
Sold as a "Cold War Collectible", we believe these to be functional, but have no way to test them and APEX does NOT guarantee they will function.

The NSP-3 is a generation 1 passive device that does not emit any IR signature, as it has no need for an IR illuminator.
It has a three stage image intensifier tube similar to that of the NSPU and 1PN58 night sights.
The NSP-3 was designed to be zeroed to and kept with a particular rifle, mounted to the side rail on the Polish milled AKML (will fit many other types of AK rifles, as long as the side mount scope rail is present).

The original paperwork included (by serial number of the scope) shows zeroing data for an individual scope/rifle pair.
You will also get a collection of service tools and spare parts.

The NSP-3 has no bright light protection circuit and will be damaged by exposure to bright light sources.
The NSP-3 Generation 1 passive scope was designed to have a bright, clear picture, but will have the "fish eye" effect at the sides of the image, this is normal.
Because this system uses a small transformer, a low-tone "hum" or "whine" can be heard when the system is operating.

This system was originally designed for use on Polish AKML rifles, which were never separated from their scope, serial numbers for the rifle are stenciled on the outside of the transit chest.

Night vision capabilities have NOT been tested or verified as functional.

NIGHT VISION is SOLD *As Is* and NO RETURNS accepted.
