Incredible flat pack to have on hand in your workshop! An extremely well illustrated document of Russian Translated Blueprints for the AK-47. Professionally reprinted (by John Baum), includes detailed images, measurements, and tables. These are restored from original Russian factory blueprints. Blueprints cover every aspect of the kalashnikov rifle including but not limited to dimentions, materials, weights, etc...
These blueprints are for historical reference, for collection and NOT for use in the creation of a firearm.
FROM the AUTHOR: These Russian AK-47 blueprints have been translated and restored. This set is 90 pages start to finish, with many of the 12" x 18" pages having two drawings per page (4 per sheet - sheets are printed on both sides). The larger drawings and those with numerous details and dimensions are on a single page by themselves, with one drawing extending onto a second page to keep it clear and large enough to read. This is printed on 28 pound high quality finished paper to be more durable. This paper is 40% heavier than standard printer/copy paper. The blueprints are plastic comb bound so that this book will lay flat while you study them. All the Russian text is now in English. These took most of a year (evenings, weekends and holidays - I do have a life other than manuals) to restore and translate. Some of the original drawings were so bad that it took 6 days to redraw and repair those prints, quitting each day when I became unable to focus. Pages: 90 Dimensions: 18.25" x 0.35" x 12.12"
