The scope base was used on the Goryunov receiver with dovetail slot on the left side for mounting the side scope base.
The pivoting side mount scope base is unique to the SG-43 Goryunov and will allow the mounting of the PPN-2 scope.
This scope base may be adaptable to other types of receivers.
