Own one of the rarest variants of the iconic G3! We don't expect to ever see these kits again!
These were used extensively in Africa fighting Portugals Colonian wars about 60 years ago.
All kits are complete, minus the barrel (available separately), and receiver.
The M/61 is the first roller locked battle rifle issued by Portugal.
Later they issued the G-3 that we are familiar with today (designated M/63 by Portugal).
The M/61 was produced by H&K in Germany, and features early parts such as the metal handguard with folding attached bipod, wood stock, early 1st type flash hider, and flip type rear sight, showing the lineage of the early CETME.

Parts have been sorted for matching numbers on the buttstock ferrule, fire control group housing, bolt and carrier.

Kits have been sorted to include the following early parts:
    - Wood buttstock (may have early or late buttpad).
    - Stamped metal hand guard.
    - Integrated folding Bipod Assembly.
    - Early Cocking tube.
    - Early flip over rear sight.
    - Early style fire control housing & safety.
    - Early muzzle brake.
    - Oval front sight hood/assembly.

Cocking tube will have dings, dents and may require some adjustment to be fully functional.
Wood stock and metal handguard will have scratches, chips, dents or scrapes, and other wear from military service.
Rare metal handguard will have small dents from service use and may need work to reshape.
May show additional signs of surface rust, wear, marring, grime, etc...
