These shovels were used during World War 2 and up until the 1970's.
Imported from Finland, there shovels are marked with the Finnish "SA" marking, but are undated.
Metal handle frame with wood grip.

No hand selection.
The head is constructed with a five-rivet configuration.
Also has a hole in the upper corner, originally used to attach the shovel to the infantryman backpack.
Between 25 and 27 inches long.
Each shovel shows signs of service use with light surface rust, dents, chips in wood, etc...
