Russian WWI Infantry Shovel, Metal and Wood Handle, in *Good* condition.

Sold Individually.
These are the World War 1 issue Imperial Russian infantry shovels.
Dates will vary between WW1 and pre-WW1.
May have double headed eagle or markers code markings.
These shovels were imported from Finland, and thus have the "SA" Finnish markings.
Metal handle frame with wood grip.
May be black or green painted.
The head is constructed with a nine-rivet configuration.
Also has a hole in the upper corner, originally used to attach the shovel to the infantryman backpack.
Between 25 and 27 inches long.
Each shovel shows signs of service use with flaking / peeling paint, dents, chips in wood, etc...
