The M61 sight is a gryo stabilized lead computing sight.
Also known as an optical lead calculating sight.
Part of the M163 Vulcan Air Defense System, commonly mounted on the M113 / M741 personnel carrier.
When used with the M163, this sight was fitted on a separate mount with independent vertical movement.
Often used in conjunction with M134 x6 telescope and M56 x7 night vision sights.
