The M48 series of tanks was very successful with over 12,000 manufactured.
These sight mounts work with the M1 Commander's cupola on M48A3 tanks.
The M1 armored cupola mounts a .50 caliber Browning MG and the sights used to aim it.
The night vision mounting bracket has a rail designed to mate with the boresight assembly used to mount the TVS-2 "Starlight" scope.
M48A3 & A5 tanks are still in use by the Republic of Korea (ROK) army as well as a variety of other nations around the world.
Used in *Excellent* condition, these heavy brackets show some dirt and wear, but no bent or twisted parts.
