Incredible parts kit to have for your collection! Includes the complete parts kit with a section of demilled receiver. Russian built in the Izhmash factory as denoted by the factory stamp of an upward pointing arrow in a triangle marked on the barrel trunnion. Comes with Type 3 AK Furniture; buttstock and handguards. Pistol grip will be Bulgarian. Kits have been sorted by date, these are from 1970. This Kit has no matching parts. The chrome lined, cold hammer forged ( CHF ) barrel is chambered in 7.62x39. Red laminated wooden stock, lower and upper handguards that shows signs of honest wear. Populated barrel comes with the rear sight block, gas block and front sight block installed. May not have a cleaning rod. Kit shows some additional signs of wear, marring, grime, etc...

Izhmash officially changed its name to the Izhmash Industrial Association in 1975, shifting away from its previous designation as the Izhevsk Machine-Building Plant (the name "Izhevsk" actually refers to the Russian city where the factory is located). The company has since been reorganized into the Kalashnikov Concern.
