47" long wooden crate for transporting Lewis light machine gun pans / drum magazines.
Crates come empty, but will hold 50 drums (as pictured).
These use a thin plywood lid, which was nailed down and has been lost to time.
These may or may not have the rope handles on the ends.
Crates are in *Good* condition and will show signs of use, may have some dirt/grime/cracks/dents.
