An excellent way to upgrade any 47 round Lewis drum magazine!
Magazines with brass bodies were issued for use in naval and tropical conditions.
A copy of the early model No.1 drum pattern design adopted on October 15th, 1915.
This has the early type concentric rings in the brass body stamping.
Includes the magazine body / shell, very few available.
Please note- this is not a magazine, just a magazine body.
Requires the middle section of a Lewis 47 round drum to complete.
The existing holes thru the top of the brass mag body are NOT correctly placed.
May show signs of storage wear, marring, grime, etc...
